"Voting Is A Great Gift": PM Modi As He Votes In Phase 3 Of Lok Sabha Polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated the Election Commission for conducting the first two phases of Lok Sabha polls with hardly any violence and asked the people to come out in large numbers to vote.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi this morning cast his vote at a school in Ahmedabad during the third phase voting for the Lok Sabha polls. The Nishan Higher Secondary School in the city's Ranip locality has been designated a polling booth.

Polling for 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh began on Tuesday morning in the third phase of the parliamentary elections.

India, where parliamentary polls are underway, has been sweltering under unprecedented heatwaves ever since the beginning of the summer season in April, and these are more pronounced in east and peninsular India than the north and northwest.
