Country Believes New Journey Into Future Will Begin From Elections: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that India is now projecting with self-confidence the mantras of truth and non-violence globally as a solution to the problems facing the world and its cultural image is playing a big role in it as well.

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy launched scathing attacks on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and said that the latter is not committed to any party, but to his chair only.

Amid speculations of the merger of Janata Dal-Secular with BJP, former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said on Saturday that if everything goes smoothly, there is no question of JDS being absorbed into the BJP and they will work together.

To ensure the democratic participation of all eligible voters, postal ballot voting was on Saturday successfully conducted in a segment of Jammu Lok Sabha constituency which is going to polls in second phase on April 26, an official spokesman said.
