San Jose, California: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today hold bilateral talks with US President Barack Obama, French President Francois Hollande and British Prime Minister David Cameron in New York, three of the five Permanent Members of the UN Security Council, a top official has said.

The meetings have been scheduled with a number of other world leaders including Emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas which will begin a few hours after his return to New York on an overnight flight from San Francisco, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said yesterday.

PM Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Silicon Valley in more than three decades. During his weekend stay, he visited the campuses of Tesla, Facebook and Google, and held a series of meetings with top Silicon Valley CEOs including Apple CEO Tim Cook.

PM Modi's meeting with the British Prime Minister David Cameron was a last minute addition, the official said.

In addition to these bilateral meetings, PM Modi will attend a lunch hosted by UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and address a United Nations summit convened by Obama on UN Peacekeeping.
