Quick Fact: Known as the koala "bear," this cuddly animal is not a bear at all. It is infact a marsupial, or pouched mammal. Whatever it is, one simply cannot afford to leave Australia without snuggling up with one of these warm and fuzzy Aussie mates.

Been There And Done That - Uluru
Apparently, Uluru is the first official stop for everyone who visits Australian Outbacks and is on many people's bucket lists.

Uluru is better known as Ayers Rock and is named by William Gosse in 1873 after Sir Henry Ayers. The first sight of the mighty Uluru on the horizon will amaze even the most jaded traveller! This enormous rock was created over 600 million years ago, and the Aborigines have been in the area for the last 10,000 years. Originally it sat at the bottom of a sea, but today it stands 348m above ground.
