The last leg of the Great OverLand Adventure's drive started from Singapore. Here are the team's picks of all things that are quintessentially Singapore.

You know you are in Singapore, when you spot the statue of Lions everywhere. Team #GLAadventure spotted this at the Mercedes service station.

Second on #GLAadventure's list is the Singapore Flyer. This 165m-tall Ferris wheel continues to serve up absolutely incredible panorama.

If you are lucky, then on a clear day, this 30-minute ride will have you peering out over the Colonial District, CBD (Central Business District), Marina Bay, the high-rise housing sprawl to the east and out to the ship-clogged South China Sea.

The Singapore observation wheel opened in 2008. Its construction took about two and a half years. The wheel has some 28 air-conditioned capsules and each can accommodate 28 passengers.

Another famous spot which is simply hard to ignore is The Merlion Park. The Merlion is a well-known icon of Singapore depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and a body of a fish. It is widely used as a mascot and national epitome of Singapore.

It is a major tourist attraction and one of the most visited landmarks in Singapore. Two Merlion statues are located at the bay. The word is a combination of 'Mer' which means the sea and 'lion'. The park is spread out in over 2,500 square meters and the seven feet tall, Merlion cub fountain is the centerpiece of this park.

Looking for some adventure? Sentosa Island in Singapore is the place for you. Every year this place gets some twenty million people - Yes, it's that popular as a holiday destination.

Some of the famous attractions in Sentosa include a 2 km long sheltered beach, Fort Siloso, two golf courses, the Merlion, 14 hotels, and the Resorts World Sentosa, featuring the theme park Universal Studios Singapore.
