Steve Smith set a new record in Test cricket, while playing for Australia against South Africa in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final at Lord's.

Australia stalwart Steve Smith slammed 66 runs in the first innings of the WTC 2025 final.

The innings helped Smith register a huge feat, whilst helping Australia recover from 67/4.

Steve Smith became the overseas batter with the most Test runs at Lord's Cricket Ground.

Smith went past fellow Australian Warren Bardsley's tally of 575 runs in seven innings.

Smith has also surged past legendary batter Don Bradman, who had amassed 551 runs in his eight innings at Lord's.
