We Restored Credibility In Economy, Says Arun Jaitley

Delhi BJP's north-east and outer Delhi district units today organised 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas' function to celebrate the completion of three years of "good governance" by the Narendra Modi government.

Hitting out at the Congress and the Left parties for "politicising" the farmers' agitation in Madhya Pradesh, Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said it was done only to "tarnish" the image of the NDA government, which was celebrating three years in office.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said India-US ties are progressing under the Trump administration as they were during the Obama presidency and the pace had not slowed down.

On completion of the NDA government's three years in office, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is addressing a press conference in the national capital. Claiming to have "restored the credibility of the economy", the Finance Minister said, "We have shown decisiveness, even the ability to take difficult decisions.

The Shiv Sena, a key ally of the BJP, today said the Narendra Modi government only "inaugurated and renamed" the projects started by the previous UPA dispensation and nothing new, barring demonetisation, has been achieved in its three years in office.
