Mumbai records its first death from Delta Plus Covid variant. The 63-year-old victim was and fully vaccinated, but had severe comorbidities, including diabetes. The victim had tested positive on July 21 and died on July 27. She was on oxygen support and was administered steroids and Remdesivir. She didn't have any travel history. 86 cases of Delta plus have been reported in India so far.
