Kerala government has announced a Rs 20,000 crore financial package to help fight coronavirus. The package for health, loans and welfare pensions includes Rs 2,000 crores for families in need, and free rice for all for a month. 50 lakh people will get social security pensions; power and water bills can be paid later.
