India is likely to propose forming an expert G20 group to look into reforms at the World Bank and to increase lending capacity of the institution for climate financing in middle and low income countries, three sources told Reuters.

India reiterated its stance on the war in Ukraine on Wednesday, saying it was time for dialogue and diplomacy, as finance officials from the Group of 20 (G20) started a meeting near the southern city of Bengaluru.

G20 Summit 2023: The discussions in the G20 FMCBG meeting scheduled on February 24 and 25 will be jointly chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Dr Shaktikanta Das.
