S Jaishankar Interview Highlights | "Absurd": Foreign Minister To NDTV On China Map Claim
India has dismissed a new "standard" map released by China that claims ownership of Arunachal Pradesh - which Beijing calls South Tibet - and Aksai Chin - occupied during the 1962 war.

"India should not be depicted as China +1. We will invest in India when we show our capability, etc. to build a modern economy contributing more to the global economy. In the last decade, you have seen recapitalisation of banks. The world will come to India because it has the capacity and capability. Obviously, there will be geopolitics in play. But it is important for us to find ways of growing manufacturing in this country. Because this is a pro-employment policy," said S Jaishankar.
