The World Health Organisation (WHO) report on the effects of air pollution among children, states that nearly 93 per cent of the world's children under the age of 15 years, breathe poisonous air every day. There have been studies showing a correlation between the air pollutants and the increased risk of preterm birth and neonatal mortality.
