INDIA Bloc Wins 10 Seats, BJP 2 In Key Polls Across 7 States

Election Results: The Opposition INDIA bloc won 10 of the 13 seats that went to polls across seven states, backing up their strong show in the Lok Sabha elections.

The Opposition INDIA alliance, which gave a tough fight to the BJP in the Lok Sabha polls, has come out on top in the by-elections to 13 Assembly seats across seven states.

Of the 13 constituencies, four are in West Bengal and three in Himachal, where the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government has survived removal attempts.

Lok Sabha 2024: Congress had the highest number of winners with victory margin less than 10% of, followed by the Samajwadi Party, AITC, and DMK.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched an attack on the opposition over the Lok Sabha poll 2024 results and said that if this election was to save the Constitution, the country chose the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for it.

Polls are long over. The action has moved to parliament. It's now time for debate and discussion. And, disagreements, too. The Lok Sabha witnessed one such spirited exchange between Rahul Gandhi and Rajnath Singh.
