A lot of people who rely on agriculture are not recognised as farmers. So, identifying only farmers for relief measures will not be enough, said Abhijit Banerjee, Nobel Laureate in Economics at #RangDeIndia telethon. Mr Banerjee also talked about middle-class rural India falling into poverty and stressed on providing social support to a large number of migrants.
