Change Takes A Lot Of Time, This Is A Start: Amit Sharma, Campaign Film Director

Amit Sharma, Director of the 'Stop The Beauty Test' campaign film said that his aim with the film was to make it with real women and narrate their true stories in the most effective way possible. Mr. Sharma said that there are many people who don't believe that women's eligibility for marriage depends on their complexion or other physical attributes anymore. Through the campaign he wanted people to realise that such discrimination still exists and also for it to serve as a wakeup call.

About The Campaign

An alarming 9 out of 10 single women in India feel that they are judged and rejected based on their looks during the marriage process, 68% also believe these rejections affect their self-esteem and confidence.
