UNICEF in partnership with Dove in the last three years has been engaged in integrating self-esteem into the life skills work that also has been an important part of the National Education Policy declared in 2020.UNICEF is globally working with Dove to reach 10 million young people. According to Dr Yasmin Ali Haque, UNICEF Representative in India, the partnership is reaching two third of the 10 million in this country and the ambition is to reach over 6 million young people, just in India.

About The Campaign

An alarming 9 out of 10 single women in India feel that they are judged and rejected based on their looks during the marriage process, 68% also believe these rejections affect their self-esteem and confidence.

This is where #DoveIndia’s #StopTheBeautyTest campaign comes in. Come, let's celebrate beauty in all shapes, colours, and sizes and pledge to create a more accepting society where there is no one particular definition of beauty.

Take The Pledge

It's time society takes notice of how ugly the quest for beauty really is.

Dove believes if we look beyond tall, slim and skin colour, we will discover a whole new world of beautiful.
