"Stop The Beauty Test Campaign Has A Very Strong Purpose," Says Facebook India's Arun Srinivas

Arun Srinivas, Director, Global Business Group, India, Facebook said that very often on social media platforms, people really stand up to conventions and challenge stereotypes. Talking about Facebook's partnership with Unilever for #StopTheBeautyTest campaign, Mr. Srinivas said it is a purposeful campaign, as it can really have a deeper impact on consumer lives in India.

About The Campaign

An alarming 9 out of 10 single women in India feel that they are judged and rejected based on their looks during the marriage process, 68% also believe these rejections affect their self-esteem and confidence.

This is where #DoveIndia’s #StopTheBeautyTest campaign comes in. Come, let's celebrate beauty in all shapes, colours, and sizes and pledge to create a more accepting society where there is no one particular definition of beauty.

Take The Pledge

It's time society takes notice of how ugly the quest for beauty really is.

Dove believes if we look beyond tall, slim and skin colour, we will discover a whole new world of beautiful.
